CAA - RxDC reporting form

Capital Blue Cross is preparing to submit the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act Drug Cost Reporting (CAA RxDC) on behalf of all group customers with medical and/or Rx coverage with Capital in 2024. To complete the submissions for the D1 section, we must gather information from all our groups. It is an option for our ASO customers. If an ASO customer elects to have us complete the D1 requirement on their behalf, then the group or broker must complete the webform. Capital will submit for ASO small business or fully-insured group customers. Capital will also submit on behalf of ASO group customers who opt in by completing and submitting the form below by March 28, 2025. This reporting covers the 2024 calendar year.

If your group was a small business ASO or fully insured group and ASO for any part of 2024, you will need to complete the form multiple times. One for the designation as a small business ASO or fully insured group and one for the designation as an ASO. If you have any questions about this submission, please contact your producer support or Customer Service.

Groups that have contracted separately with a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) to administer pharmacy benefits should continue to work with that PBM to report pharmacy data required for D3-D8 responses. Groups that already have completed their reporting requirements or are working with another party to fulfill their reporting obligations should continue with their current reporting plans.

Please note that compliance with the RxDC D1 requirements remains the responsibility of ASO groups. Capital's reporting on behalf of groups does not transfer a group's compliance obligations to Capital. Learn more about this requirement.
