Why get vaccinated?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Pennsylvania Department of Health, the state’s adult flu vaccination rate has dropped about 5% annually since 2020 – that represents 500,000 fewer Pennsylvania adults being vaccinated. Over the same span, annual adult flu cases have more than doubled.

The CDC recommends an annual flu shot for most adults and children 6 months and older.
