Member assistance program

For individual and family plan members

The member assistance program (MAP) is available to help you through life’s most difficult situations.

There is no cost to you to use this service if you are enrolled in one of our Individual Health plans. The benefit is paid for and provided by your Capital Blue Cross Benefit. Our program is completely confidential and is available to all eligible members covered under your health plan. If you need to continue with additional covered services outside of the covered MAP sessions, you may continue with the same counselor and utilize your health insurance benefit.

Counseling

• Covers four free sessions for all MAP members that are eligible and covered under your contract.
• Virtual, telephonic, or in person.
• Online resources.
• Speak with a live person 24/7/365.
